A credit card is the fastest way, but if you prefer to mail a check, call back to verify that the check was received and that your reservation has been made. Avoid disappointment, double-check. Your payment makes a binding agreement according to the rental terms below. We rent by the night, week or month.

General:

The person signing this agreement (Tenant) is an adult and will occupy the Property during the entire rental period. We understand about unexpected guests, but if you have more than two people beyond the agreed group, the Tenant must call to get permission. Please call us if any maintenance needs arise.

Pets:

Your well-behaved dog is welcome, but please make arrangements with us beforehand so we can waive the security deposit. Sonoma County requires that dogs in public be on a leash at all times. When on the property, the dog must be under your control. Please clean up all dog waste and respect the property and home.

We supply:

The home is fully furnished including quilts, comforters, blankets, pillows, sheets, bath towels, paper products. The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, blender, microwave, utensils and tableware for 12. There is a barbeque on the deck. Please bring your own toiletries and beach towels.

Security:

Please safeguard our home and your possessions by locking the Property securely whenever you leave. You are responsible for any losses.

Wear and Tear:

Wear is okay, tear is not. If someone in your group or a guest damages, breaks or loses something from the Property, Tenant must repair or replace it. Tenant accepts liability for any loss or damage to the Property by Tenant's group or guests.

Cleaning:

Please leave the home broom-clean, as you found it, and leave the heaters set on low. We would appreciate it if you would put the first load of towels in the washer. We inspect the home after you leave and the cleaning fee is for four hours normal cleaning.

Telephone:

Domestic U.S. phone calls are included in the rental fee. Please use a phone calling card to call out of the U.S.

Hot tub, spa and decks:

Our home has decks and hot tubs that become slippery when wet and can be dangerous to use and that injury may occur. Tenant accepts all risks involved in or related to the use of the hot tub, spa, decks and surrounding areas.

Boats and water toys:

Tenant acknowledges that if the property makes available any water toys, canoes, boats or the like for their enjoyment, the Tenant agrees that they are fully aware that usage of these amenities can be dangerous and Tenant hereby holds harmless Russian River Vacation home and the Owner of this property for any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the usage of boats and/or any type of water toys etc. that were made available by this property for their use.

Hold Harmless:

Russian River Vacation Home does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage of water, gas, electricity, plumbing, cable or Internet access, unless it is not corrected in a timely manner. Russian River Vacation Home may offer some form of compensation for prolonged inconvenience. Tenant agrees to hold Russian River Vacation Home harmless for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts or God, or other reasons beyond its control.

Additional terms and conditions:

The Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner of Property and Russian River Vacation Home from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury of whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner and Russian River Vacation Home free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors, or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs. Any legal action must take place in the venue of Sonoma County, California.

Cancellation:

If your plans change, please let us know right away, IN WRITING. There is no charge to re-schedule your visit to an available date. If you must cancel, please ALSO CALL us as soon as you can, or e-mail us because if we can re-rent for that period at the same rate, your cancellation fee is only $75 and the rest of your deposit is returned. If your written cancellation is postmarked less than 30 days prior to your check-in date and we cannot re-rent, only the cleaning fee is refunded and your deposit is forfeited.

Tenant acknowledges that he/she has read the above agreement and agrees to comply fully with all rules and regulations. Tenant understands that this document is a contract that becomes binding when a reservation is made, that is, upon receipt of Tenant's check or credit card number by Russian River Vacation Home, 14325 Green Valley Rd., Forestville CA 95436
